Job description
| Azure Cloud Developer: Primary Responsibilities include: ► Design and develop in Azure, delivering enterprise level shared services for the management of public cloud end points and services ► Operate on cloud native API commands and translate to various tooling formats ► Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated workflow solutions with cloud native tools ► Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc. ► Facilitate and support the rollout of code through all levels of the pipeline ► Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and overall best practices. ► React quickly to ever changing market conditions and technology advancements with “out of the box” solutions that allow our business partners to have the tools that will enable them to reach and exceed our sales goals ► Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables ► Work closely with architects and portfolio managers to execute product/services automation/product roadmaps Qualifications: ► Azure Architect/Associate certification or equivalent knowledge level ► 5+ years of software development OR infrastructure/architecture experience with scripting know-how ► Strong web services experience (REST API) ► Experience with Kubernetes architecture and tools (Helm/Istio) a plus ► Experience working with and managing work with Jira is a plus ► Extensive experience with Cloud APIs covering software defined Compute, Networking and storage technologies as well as Cloud native automation tools ► Participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production ► Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment ► Proven history of providing technical support during all phases of project delivery. This includes, but is not limited to: development of project estimates, solution design review, documentation creation and review, and peer code reviews ► Experience working with four or more from the following: infrastructure as a service platforms, platform as a service, service management, web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development. ► Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced exciting, ever changing environment ► Good analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues ► Self-starter with desire to understand work and project objectives ► Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communications skills |
